Registration Deadline: Thursday, June 21, 2012 1:00 p.m. (CST)

Join us for a Beer Tasting and Book Signing

with Author Lew Bryson ‘81

Kick off the summer with F&M friends and a unique beer tasting experience at The Gables, featuring Lew Bryson ’81. Lew is the author of several books about Mid-Atlantic breweries, and a popular blogger and beer expert quoted in national media including The New York Times and Slate. He was just named “Beer Writer of the Year” by Philly Beer Scene magazine.

We will gather among the renovated ruins of an old stone barn located on The Gables' historic property and enjoy a hearty menu of appetizers and beers. A cash bar with wine and mixed drinks will also be available. The highlight of the evening will be a beer tasting led by Lew Bryson. Lew will discuss the merits of several beer varieties including Yuengling Lager, Stoudt's American Pale, Troegenator Double Bock, Victory Prima Pils, and Sly Fox Royal Weisse.

In addition to the tasting, guests will have the opportunity to purchase autographed copies of the fourth edition of Lew’s Pennsylvania Breweries.
