The Hagley Museum shares the story of the du Pont family that founded the DuPont chemical company, and this season Hagley features du Pont family holiday celebrations and traditions based on New Year's and Twelfth Night festivities.
Erik P. Rau, Ph.D., director of Hagley's library services, will talk about the holiday traditions of the du Pont family in 19th century America. Guests will take private tours of the du Ponts' home, and enjoy refreshments provided by Toscana, one of Wilmington's finest Italian restaurants.
